adventuring with anna and her family – lafayette, co family photographer

I’m so happy we got to squeeze this session in before winter arrived this week. It’s only been a week since we went out for this Lafayette, CO family photography session, but we are firmly in winter now and on our third day of snow falling. Editing these warm, sunny photographs has definitely helped me stay warm.

We decided to go to Waneka Lake down in Lafayette, CO. I hadn’t been there in years. It was such a treat to go with this family because they live close and knew so many great spots. The kids were so fun. We had such a great time running, tickling, telling jokes, and of course, playing in the water. Also, I can’t get enough of those blue glasses. Gah.

Another fun bonus to this session is we saved the last 15 minutes to meet up with some of Anna’s extended family for a couple of group shots. We got to do some of the kids playing with their grandparents and then the whole family, too. I hope you enjoy a few from this Boulder family photography session.
